'A Night With The Tartan Army' with special guest Billy McNeill
Scotland v Holland World Cup Tie
The Aberdeen Douglas Hotel, Aberdeen

This fascinating game gives us the ideal event to host one of our popular Giant Screen Dinners. Prior to the game you and your guests will be served a quality dinner before you relax to watch the game LIVE on the huge 10ft x 8ft screen with full surround sound. To add a real Scottish flavour we will have our own piper performing just before kick off to really set the scene for the big game. Our guest speaker for this event will be Celtic & Scotland legend Billy McNeill. Billy was of course the first ever British captain to lift the European Cup when he captained Celtic's famous Lisbon Lions to victory in 1967. Billy was a one club player and played for Celtic between 1957 and 1975 with almost 800 appearances. He also gained 29 caps for Scotland captaining them on 20 occasions. When his playing career ended he went on to manage Clyde, Aberdeen, Celtic, Manchester City & Aston Villa before returning to Cetic again before retiring from the game in 1991. Billy has some fabulous stories to tell about his playing career and he will also be our 'pundit for the night' giving his views on how the game is progressing on the night.

The Comedians - An Englishman, an Irishman & a Scotsman !!
With special guest comedians Stan Boardman, Stewart Coull & Bill Copeland

A night of laughs is guaranteed when THREE of the top comedians on the after dinner circuit battle with each other for your laughs. This event will be jokes and hilarious stories from start to finish !!
 
The Englishman - Stan Boardman 
Starring appearances on Granada Television's new Comedians series proved to be a tremendous springboard to even greater success for Stan. In the space of a handful of months he emerged as one of the most sought after comedians in show business and he remains one of the most sought after speakers in Britain today. The diverse nature of his act meant that he has appeared in pantomimes, concerts, cabaret and summer seasons at major venues all over Britain. Stan has even performed as far afield as Sydney in Australia. He is fanatical about his beloved Liverpool FC and even more fanatical about golf. Stan is sure to give you and your guests an evening to remember

The Irishman - Stewart Coull 
The product of a Belfast mother and a Scottish father, Stewart was eligible to play both international football and rugby for either country. Unfortunately, due to a breakdown in communications, the news escaped both camps, in both sports, so Stewart remained undiscovered. (This was before Jack Charlton’s time!). Stewart’s main interest is sport: football, rugby and golf. He supports Airdrieonians Football Club, which makes him an optimist with a sense of humour. He is past President of both Waysiders and Cumbernauld Rugby Clubs. He plays golf on the two magnificent courses at Dullatur Golf Club. A hilarious after dinner speaker Stewart is one of the busiest comics in the UK.

The Scotsman - Bill Copeland
Bill Copeland was a lawyer practising in Lanarkshire. He specialised in criminal defence work but given the swingeing cuts in Legal Aid, he became a conveyancer as there is now more money in acting for those buying houses than those breaking into them !!! Born in Govan, a quaint fishing village on the banks of the Clyde, home to Sir Alex Ferguson and Billy Connolly, he attended a tough school – tough? There was a boy in the class who was allergic to peanuts and they used to take him round the back of the bike shed and make him play Russian roulette with a packet of Revels. There he learned the three R’s …Rangers and Rangers Reserves. Attended Alan Glen’s School, which was selective, not doing too well as he selected to go only on Fridays. Left with 6 A Levels but was caught at the gate and made to return them to the Headmaster. Studied at Strathclyde University, graduating B.A., LL.B. which his criminal clients think stand for “buy us a lager and a large Bacardi”
