Billy is the main guitar player within the set up and also provides both lead and backing vocals when needed. Billy has a reputation second to none as an excellent guitar player and his ability precedes him. Playing with countless bands over the years, Billy has taken to writing his own material whilst with Clydebank based band "Clyde " It was here that the band Success reached an all important high when they were asked to support another local Band namely The World Famous Wet! Wet! Wet! They played a blistering set at the Manchester G-Mex Arena in front of countless thousands, although Billy would argue as to who the crowd were really screaming for! Billy also played at the Kelvin Grove Rock Fest where he was second billing to none other than the sensational Alex Harvey Band amongst others. Billy has excelled in most styles of music including Rock, Blues, Flat, Picking Etc. Not only does he play acoustics within the Band but he is also very talented and repairs and manufactures the Guitars too!

Dougie on the other hand has a slightly different background within the music industry, he has played with numerous Bands over the years playing Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and singing backing vocals with various styles such as Rock, Country etc. It was within the Pipe Band scene that saw Dougie glean most of his music competing against Pipe Bands from all over the World in Grade Two, Grade Three and Grade Four with the Lanarkshire Pipe Band. Dougie has helped the Lanarkshire Pipe Band win numerous prestigious titles. Dougie has played numerous events such as Weddings, Birthdays, and Anniversaries. He also took part and played his Pipes at the first ever World Famous Tartan Day Celebrations in New York with the Islay Pipe Band and is still currently a playing member of the Pipe Band today. He gave up serious competition two years ago to try a little something different, the Pub Club and Wedding scene, it was here that Dougie and Billy decided to go to it together after the break up of Bands that the Lads had previously played with. Starting on their new venture as a Pop Duo was a bit strange as they had come from strict Band backgrounds and at times found it hard to play using all the more modern techniques of recording, but as you can hear from the demos they have learned to adapt very quickly and already have built up a great following in venues throughout Scotland and further afield.

People get the chance to dance the night away to numbers from The Mavericks, listen to The Eagles or sing-along to U2, Pink Floyd. The Hollies and Franz Ferdinand to name but a few, they also incorporate some traditional music into modern songs, playing Bagpipes and Low Whistles on some of both their favourite numbers.
